UR Fall / Winter 2012

While I realize tomorrow is Halloween and before we know it, fall will be over...
I am excited to share these new lookbook images with you!

The shop will be updated throughout the day today.
In the meantime, take a look at Urban Revisions Fall / Winter 2012.

Hanging glass flower tubes! Who's getting married?
All I could think about while taking these photos was fall woodland weddings...

Three styles are now in the shop as made to order.
I've started a "Decor" section which I hope to fill with more glass projects as time goes on ...

... dew - covered ...

A friend sent me this aaamazing collection of macro insect photos by David Chambon last night.
Covered in dew, every water droplet reminds me of my glass cluster textures!
 So inspiring.

looking back -

I was going through old photos this morning and came across images from our first trip to Asheville that I never shared. During our visit, I bought some crystals downtown and felt compelled to photograph them during our stay at our friend's beautiful cabin. One year and few months later, we now live 13 minutes down the road from them.

This past weekend I shot a new Urban Revisions lookbook over there and I can't wait for you all to see how amazing the property looks in the fall...

(also - speaking of crystals and looking back, check out a pretty awesome post from March 2011 full of gems...)

enjoying fall ...

I've been trying to spend everyday this past week outside or in the glass shop.
Everything has been so beautiful!

The hanging glass flower tubes came about randomly and I think I will make a bunch more. We will be traveling to Brooklyn in November for the Renegade Craft Fair's Holiday Market!
So hopefully people will be into them ... Christmas ornaments?

And speaking of Christmas ornaments - there are some glass dreamcatchers on sale in the shop!
(Sorry - I'm not sorry for talking about Christmas before Halloween.)
