✄ caught a sewing bug ✄

If you follow me on twitter, you may have seen me talking about getting over my sewing machine fear a few days ago...
I decided to tackle Jenny Gordy's Wiksten tank and it turned out like this : 

Overall, I am terribly proud of myself. I didn't even know what a french seam was and I messed up twice - having to rip out seams on both sides and shoulders. Took me eight hours to complete! That, I am a little embarrassed to admit...

... a little shop update to tide me over till mid April when i have plans to photograph an actual collection on an actual model. it's been so long since i had a photo shoot besides my boring self portraits in the kitchen - i'm seriously excited!

A random but awesome post ... these pictures are from the Heard Museum in Phoenix, AZ. We visited during our Thanksgiving trip and I've been meaning to share! My obsession with leather moccasins and bead work is never ending. So obviously, I was in awe.
