Overall, I am terribly proud of myself. I didn't even know what a french seam was and I messed up twice - having to rip out seams on both sides and shoulders. Took me eight hours to complete! That, I am a little embarrassed to admit...

Thats pretty stunning for having a fear of sewing machine! The edges look perfect, I'd say its worth the 8 hours.Lovely inspiration photos, too.
I need a sewing machine and want a good one. What kind do you use?
Oh it looks great! I really wanted to buy the pattern, I bet it would be so satisfying to complete!
